KILLSWITCH ENGAGE To Guest On This Weekend's 'Rebel Access' TV

February 15, 2008

Massachusetts metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will be the featured band on this Sunday's (February 17) "Rebel Access" TV, which airs at 10:00 p.m. on Channel 19 all over the Chicagoland area. The program will include an interview with bassist Mike D'Antonio and guitarist Joel Stretzel along with performance footage.

"Rebel Access" features a band one week and plays the hardest "in-your-face" music videos in Chicago the next week.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE — whose live performance was recently described by SOULFLY/ex-SEPULTURA frontman Max Cavalera as "the gayest show I've ever seen" — has been confirmed for this year's Dubai Desert Rock Fest, set to take place March 7-8, 2008 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mike D'Antonio recently told Billboard.com that his group is unlikely to release a new studio album before 2009.

"We are considering starting an album at the end of [2008] at this point," D'Antonio said. "We're not gonna stop touring on this record ('As Daylight Dies') until at least the end of April, and I know we're probably going to do a run of all the festivals in Europe in June and July. After that, I believe then we're gonna start talking about writing a new record."
